Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of buffaloslocksmith.com (the “Site”) and the locksmith services provided by Buffalo’s Locksmith (“we”, “our”, “us”), 129 East Ave, Akron, NY 14001. By using the Site or requesting service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Services

We provide mobile residential, commercial, automotive, safe and emergency locksmith services in Buffalo and the surrounding Western New York area. Descriptions on the Site are general; the work actually performed, and its price, depend on what we find on site.

2. Proof of ownership or authority

Before we open any lock, vehicle, safe or property, or duplicate or replace any key, you must be able to show that you own the property or are authorised to request the work. We may ask for photo identification and supporting documents such as a registration, title, lease or utility bill. We will refuse or stop a job if ownership or authority cannot be established, and no refusal on that basis is a breach of these Terms.

3. Quotes, pricing and payment

  • Any figure given by phone or on the Site is an estimate based on what you describe. A firm price is confirmed on site once the technician has assessed the job, and before work starts.
  • Prices can vary with the hardware involved, vehicle make and model, the time of day, and the complexity of the work.
  • Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of booking.
  • A service or trip charge may apply where a technician has been dispatched, including where the job is cancelled after arrival or cannot proceed under section 2.

4. Emergency and after-hours work

Response times quoted are good-faith estimates only. Traffic, weather, distance and technician availability affect arrival, and we do not guarantee a specific arrival time. Emergency lockouts come ahead of scheduled work.

5. Damage, existing conditions and destructive entry

Some locks, safes and ignitions cannot be opened non-destructively. Where destructive entry is the only practical method, we will tell you before proceeding and you must authorise it. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, worn or defective hardware, or faults in doors, frames or vehicle systems that were present before we arrived.

6. Workmanship

We stand behind our workmanship. Hardware we supply carries whatever warranty its manufacturer provides and is passed through to you. Warranties do not cover misuse, forced entry, accident, vandalism, unauthorised adjustment, or normal wear. Contact us promptly if you believe work needs to be revisited.

7. Cancellations

Let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellation once a technician has been dispatched or has arrived may incur the trip charge described in section 3.

8. Use of the Site

You agree not to use the Site to break any law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or harvest data by automated means beyond ordinary search-engine crawling, or to attempt unauthorised access to any part of it. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

9. Intellectual property

The Site’s text, layout, graphics and logos are owned by Buffalo’s Locksmith or used under license and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Third-party manufacturer names and logos shown on the Site are the property of their respective owners and appear only to indicate the hardware we work with. You may not reproduce Site content for commercial use without our written permission.

10. No security guarantee

Locks and security hardware reduce risk; they do not eliminate it. Nothing on this Site is a guarantee that a property, vehicle or safe cannot be compromised.

11. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party sites and embeds third-party services such as maps and anti-spam verification. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New York law, our total liability arising out of any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost income or loss of use. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, in particular any misrepresentation of ownership of or authority over property under section 2.

14. Privacy

Information you send us is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Accessibility

Our commitment and how to report a barrier are set out in our Accessibility Statement.

16. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Erie County, New York, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the current version, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it.
